Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has confirmed a fatal train accident involving the Warri–Itakpe train service corridor at Agbor in Delta State.
The corporation said emergency response and rescue operations were immediately activated, with all passengers on board successfully accounted for.
Three deaths have so far been confirmed, while authorities continue investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The NRC said support is being provided to affected passengers and urged the public to rely on official updates as response efforts continue
