Marriage ,as taught in primary schools has, companionship and childbearing as some of it’s objective. In Africa however, three months after getting married, the woman comes under close scrutiny as both friends and foes ,watch to see if she has fallen pregnant.
Many women, get a bitter deal from their in-laws for failing to deliver the goods. Many homes ,are a battle ground because the ultimate is yet to happen. Surprisingly, during courtship, the man does not spell it out that all he wants is children. Sometimes too, the fault is from the man with low sperm count and secondary impotence due to habits or drugs being the culprit.
The issue is, can two people who love themselves not stay together without children? I took to my Facebook page to ask, the answers are in the screenshots.
