SENATE PASSES 2019 BUDGET, INFLATES IT_Ada Nkong

After increasing the budget by N 86 Billion more than the amount originally submitted to them, the senate has passed the 2019 budget.

The Senate on Tuesday approved N8.916 trillion as the budget for the 2019 fiscal year.

This amount passed however is N86 billion higher than the N8.83 trillion originally submitted to the National Assembly in December 2018 for approval by President Muhammadu Buhari.
