Mohammed Isa, the special assistant media and publicity to the senate President has released a statement relieving Dr festus Adebayo of his appointment.
In a tease statement signed by him, it stated that “The office of the President of the Senate has reviewed the appointment of Dr. Festus Adebayo as special assistant on Media and publicity and has rescinded its earlier decision on it.
The statement added that, “The office wishes Mr. Adebayo the best in his future endeavours.
Dr. Festus was appointed as Special Adviser on Media on June 18 2019, just 2 days ago.
The appointment had raised a lot of flakes from party supporters describing it as completely flawed as they found it difficult to vouch for his loyalty to the party and the office of the Senate President.
