For certain reasons the most important being religion, one gets married with expectations. Even during courtship, the term my ‘one and only’ gives one a false sense of security that the partner will always stick to only him or her.
Fast forward to when the sparks wane and ‘eyes begin to rove’. Some people cannot bear the thought of betrayal, especially the cases where one catches their spouse red handed. Reactions differ.
While some will cry their hearts out and heal slowly without reacting violently, some will show aggression to the third party. For others, they will destroy property and the extreme ones will do bodily harm to their spouse.
