Despite allegations aimed at ending his ministerial career, Rt Hon Rotimi Amaechi has retained his portfolio as Minister of transportation, just as Aviation has been unmerged from Transport.
Hadi Sirika is now Minister of Aviation while Saraki is Minister of State Transportation.
Lai Mohammed returned also as Minister of information and culture while Raji Fashola is Minister Works and housing.
At the Ministry of Transportation, it was a mood of general elation and celebration. A staff who pleaded anonymity said it is the first time a mister is being received with such joy in the ministry. ” look at the faces, the smiles are genuine because he is a father ” ,she concluded.
Another staff,a male who spoke to news annex said”,it is a good thing, continuity, we have seen what he has done before and we hope he will do more”.
