There was chaos at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport this evening as passengers protested the protracted delay of their flights.
Newsannex gathered that passengers who were meant to be on the 12 : 45 pm fight which was delayed had to justle for seats as passengers meant for 3:30 flight boarded their flights unchecked. This led to 20 passengers meant for 12:45 pm being left behind.
As at the time of filing in this report at 7:20, there was no boarding announcement for either the 3:30 pm flight or the 4:15 flight.
Apprehension at having to justle for the one Max aircraft sighted on ground led to protest and agitation by the irritated passengers.
It was gathered that the aircraft on ground had no crew and were waiting for a pilot and crew from Lagos for a flight that was already 4 hours behind time.
Passengers threatened to sue the airline and our correspondent reported the situation to the DG NCAA Captain Muhtar Usman who promised to investigate the matter.
