The house of reps has urged the Central bank to suspend the cashless policy till further notice.
A tweet on the official handle of the speaker House of representaives Femi Gbajabiamila says this is to give time for “appropriate and comprehensive consultation” to be made.
The apex bank had come up with charges for deposits and withdrawals up to 500,000, the announcement of which met with serious complaints from some Nigerians
