There was chaos Friday at the university of Benin, Edo state, as a student was shot dead during the faculty of social sciences final year Jean Carnival.
Reports say that the deceased, identified as Africicanado, a popular hypeman, was murdered by a rival cult group.
Many students were seen scampering to safety as the shots rang out.
