Omoyele Sowore, the and his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare have just been released by the Department of State Services.
This was confirmed by one of the legal practitioners of the defendants

On August 3, 2019 Sowore was arrested by the Nigerian Department of Security Services (DSS) for alleged treason after calling for a protest tagged RevolutionNow.
On September 24, 2019, Sowore was granted bail by the Federal High Court Abuja, on the condition that he surrender his international passport within forty-eight hours.
The DSS had refused to release Sowore claiming ignorance of the court order.
