On January 16, 2020, Patrick Anyaene, a record producer and CEO of Golden Boy Entertainment took to his Twitter account @KingPatrickGB to voice his frustrations on the matter of his former artist Peruzzi with a hashtag #SurvivingPeruzzi.
He shared how he met Peruzzi , signed him, helped him financially and got him accommodation only for the artiste to breach his contract and jump ship to DMW.
Peruzzi took to his twitter handle to share his side of the story in three tweets that have been deleted.
He admits to being signed to Golden boy entertainment and agrees that he initially didn’t have a written contract with DMW but he provided proof that CEO golden boy entertainment was present at the “Audio signing”.
He admits to having been provided accommodation by Mr Patrick but stated that it was a part of him contract, and Mr Patrick breached his contract him by selling his songs to film makers and other artistes without his consent and without compensation.
He also claimed that Mr Patrick destroyed a computer with 27 of his songs in anger without paying for damages .
Mr Patrick has not responded to any of these statements but has threatened to leak some of the original songs Ruzzi Huncho wrote for Davido .
