Federal High Court Kano, has set aside the ruling of the FCT High Court upholding the suspension of the APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole from the party.

The court further directed police, DSS to provide security to the National Chair to resume in his office.

Recall, a Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court sitting in Jabi, Abuja, on Wednesday ordered the suspension of the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole.

The suspension order is sequel to a suit filed by the National Vice Chairman, North East of the ruling APC, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, a factional chairman of the APC in Edo state, Anselm Ojezua and others, seeking to remove Oshiomhole from office.

The temporary suspension order is pending the determination of the substantive suit.

The FCT High Court had previously refused to grant an ex-parte application filed by the APC north-east national vice chairman, Mustapha Salihu, former Edo State chairman of the APC, Anselm Ojezua, among others, seeking Oshiomhole’s removal from office.

The APC members filed the application after the Governor Godwin Obaseki-led faction of the APC in Edo State announced Oshiomhole’s suspension from the party in the state.

But Justice Senchi had refused to grant the request on the grounds that Oshiomhole and other defendants in the suit were not put on notice before the motion was heard.
