The Vice-President , Prof Yemi Osinbajo ‘s convoy was reportedly involved in an accident om its way to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Friday.
A source said one of the outriders in the convoy of the VP , Ali Gomina ,45,died in the accident.
The vice-president was reportedly heading to the airport to catch a flight to Lagos when the incident happened.
Laolu Akande, spokesman to Osinbanjo is yet to respond to inquiries as to the cause of the accident as at the time of this report.
This comes five days after Osinbajo celebrated his 63rd birthday.
