In line with global efforts to curtail the spread of Covid-19, the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria had called for the closure of all Catholic schools.
A communique signed by most Reverend Augustine Akubueze, Bishop of Benin diocese also prescribes suspension of the kiss of peace as well as common cisterns for holy water.
The faithful are urged to embrace private devotion while also being asked to have faith in God’s ability to see them through these difficult times.
