Oyo state has recorded its highest daily number of cases as Nigeria inches closer to 40,000 confirmed cases so far .

Oyo led with 191 cases followed by Lagos with 168 and FCT with 61 cases. Ekiti,Delta and IMO had 3 cases each while Niger had just 1 case.
