The Lagos- Ibadan rail project which had been earmarked for completion early this year has been hindered by Covid-19 like many other projects.
The Minister of transportation Rotimi Amaechi had prr- covid carried out a monthly inspection and steering committee meeting to speed up the project.
For the first time since Covid-19, the Minister inspected the project along side the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, the MD NPA Hadiza Usman and the MD NRC Engr Fidet Okhiria.
Workmen were seen on the sites working on the stations all the way from Ebute Metta to Ibadan.
