By the NCDC Update for August 17 2020, Lagos cases of covid -19 surged from below 100 the previous day to above two hundred yesterday. A total of 417 new cases were reported bringing the total number confirmed so far to 49485.36834 cases have been confirmed so far and 977 deaths have occurred.
Lagos recorded the highest, Kaduna is next with 44 cases, Ondo has 38 while Abia has 28.
Ogun, FCT and Kano have one case each.
