FMOT Collaborates With International Maritime Organization to Host World Maritime Day_Ada Nkong

The Federal Ministry of Transportation is to the 2020 world Maritime day in conjunction with the International Maritime Organisation.
A statement by Eric Ojiekwe ,Director Press And public relations States the theme of the event is : Sustainable Shipping For Sustainable Planet: The Nigerian Dimension.
The statement reads in part ; “the Honourable Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi and the Honourable Minister of State for Transportation, Sen. Gbemisola Saraki, cordially invites all stakeholders in the maritime sector and the general public to the 2020 World Maritime Day Celebration with the theme: Sustainable Shipping For Sustainable Planet: The Nigerian Dimension”.
According to the statement, the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Transportation, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, says the event is scheduled to hold on 24th September, 2020, at the Eko Hotel and Suites by 9:00 am prompt with the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals, Mrs. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, will be the Special Guest of Honour.
