Pressident Muhammadu Buhari has approved a special salary scale for teachers.
Minister of education,Adamu Adamu who represented the President at the 2020 world teachers day celebration in Abuja said this is to encourage teachers to do more.
Adamu also disclosed the President’s approval to increase the years of service of teachers from 35 to 40.
