Reports reaching us say Police have arrested at least, 17 protesters at the Lekki toll gate Lagos.
Despite warnings by the police not to engage in the protests, some youths went ahead to converge at the toll gate in protest of the panel’s decision to reopen the toll gate.
Popular comedian and content creator Mr Macaroni is reported to be among those arrested.
It is alleged that the arrested protesters were seriously beaten and injured before been held in a van packed at the toll gate.
