Reports reaching us say the 317 school girls kidnapped in Zamfara state have regained freedom.
A report on Channels TV says the state governor confirmed their release.As at the time of the report, they were said to be at the palace of the Emir of Ankar waiting to be transported to the state capital.
Seven of the girls had already escaped by Friday and found their way back home.
The students were said to have been held in the forests between Dangulbi and Sabon Birnin Banaga in Maru local government area of Zamfara state.
