Following the breakdown of a train that departed the Rigasa station for Abuja yesterday morning leaving passengers anxious at Dutse for hours, the Nigeria Railway corporation has tendered its apology to passengers.
A Statement by Mr Paschal Nnorli, the station manager says ” the failure which was as a result of mechanical malfunction is highly regretted”.
According to Nnorli, ” the failed locomotive is currently receiving attention from our team of engineers and technicians at the Idu Locomotive workshop.
He thanked the passengers for their patronage while regretting the inconveniences caused by the breakdown.
