FG Facilitates Return of 101 Nigerians Stranded in Libya_Ada Nkong

The federal government has facilitated the return of a total number of 101 stranded Nigerians to Abuja, Nigeria on Friday from Libya.

A statement by NIDCOM head media public relations and protocol, Abdur-Rahman Balogun says the Stranded Nigerians, including the 22 family members of suspected former members of ISIS that were killed in Libya as well as their children.

According to Balogun all evacuees came with Negative PCR test for Covid- 19 and landed at exactly 10.15 pm at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport GAT wing, aboard Airforce C130.

He Said officials of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, NIDCOM, NCDC, NDLEA, NEMA, DSS, Immigration and Port Health were on hand to receive the returnees.
