Channels TV’s Sunrise daily lead anchor Chamberlain Usoh and his colleague have been arrested . The arrest is allegedly due to anti-Buhari interviews hosted on the channel.
Reports say Chamberlain alongside Kayode Okikiolu were picked up this morning by operatives of the state security forces in connection with interviews with Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State during which he accused President Muhammadu Buhari of promoting a Fulanisation agenda, and another guest, Commodore Kunle Olawunmi (rtd) who revealed that people who are high up in the Buhari’s government are sponsors of Boko Haram.
Chamberlain reportedly confirmed the development but did not know where they were being taken .
