Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Sabo Nanono and that of Power, Sale Mamman have been sacked by President Buhari.
Special assistant to the President on media and publicity Femi Adesina made this known to statehouse correspondents at the villa after the Federal executive council meeting on Wednesday.
President Muhammadu Buhari announced a minor cabinet reshufflement that affected four Ministers.
Two of the four were relieved of their appointments while two were redeployed.
Those relieved of their appointments are former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Sabo Nanono and that of Power, Sale Mamman.
The redeployed ones are former Minister of Environment, Muhammad Mahmood Abubakar, who now assumes duty as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development while former Minister of State for Works and Housing, Abubakar Aliyu becomes the Minister of Power.
Adesina said President Buhari promised that very soon he will fill the two existing vacuums created by the exit of Nanono and Mamman.
