After a protracted legal battle running into several months, Senator Jarigbe Atom Jarigbe has been sworn in as senator representing CRS North senatorial district.
Social media is agog with messages of felicitation especially from the youth who make up the greater percentage of his followers.
They had been rumors of a court injunction to stop the swearing in which the senate in a message to the Senator elect as at then said were false.
Pictures posted by his media team on his Facebook page show the senator taking his oath of office.
This is the first time Ogoja local government is producing a senator to represent the senatorial district.
