Graduands Laud St Augustine School Mararaba for Instilling values in them_Ada Nkong

As the pioneer students of St Augustine school Mararaba graduate, the school received a lot of appreciation from the students for setting them on the right part and insisting on high moral standards.

The class valedictorian and Head girl of the school Victoria Aloga who said she considered herself privileged to have been picked for the honor said the school had instilled values like determination, focus and hard work in her which would stay with her for life while the Head boy Emmanuel thanked God for the grace to successfully complete six years of study.

The school administrator Fr. Mike Okpe OSA who was full of encomiums for the students expressed confidence that they will do well. He called on parents not to relent in being actively involved in the upbringing of their children as teachers alone cannot do it.

The Principal of the secondary school ,Mrs Agnes Ugorji who was overjoyed at the successful graduation of the first batch of SSCE students wished them well in their future endeavors and reaffirmed the believe that they would all turn out well.

A graduating student , assistant head girl of the school, Victoria Ogar who attested to the efforts made by the school to maintain discipline and ensure they study hard described the graduation as the end of one phase in life and urged all the graduands to remember the principles they learnt in the school. According to her, if they applied it to their lives, they will succeed.

The ceremony which started with holy mass, featured dances,presentation ,choreography and a drama sketch in which the SS3 students mimicked the teachers to the delight of both teachers and parents.
