As friends and fans continue to shower gifts of millions of Naira on ace artiste David Adeleke aka Davido, mixed reactions have been shared from various sections of social media.
While some say the gifts are a payback for his goodness to others and well deserved, others have attributed it to the circle of friends he has with admonitions to people to change their circle.
The celebrity had in a post requested his fans to gift him 1 million naira as he needed to clear his Rolls Royce from the port. Within 10 minutes he got 7 millions.
He went further to announce that the aim was 100 million and in under 2 hours, he was close to the goal.
A few people have said it is demeaning for him to.beg on social media given his net worth.
A vocal legal practitioner First Baba Isa is however of the opinion that instead of blaming their circle for not being able to hand out million naira gifts, they should rather look inwards to see if they are the right circle for others.
Among those who have given the cash gifts are Otedola and Obi Cubana.
