The UK government says it has removed Nigeria and 10 other countries from it’s travel ban list.
A release from the British high commissioner in Nigeria says the ban was lifted after considering medical data.
Angola, Lesotho, Eswatini, Malawi, Zambia, Namibia and South Africa are among the countries whose bans were lifted
.
The statement cited reasons why the ban was placed in the first place to include the need to curb the spread of the Omicron virus.
