Widow of late President of the Senate, Joseph Wayas who recently passed on, Mrs. Mary Abiola Wayas, has died. She passed on 12 days after her husband’s death.
According to a statement by their son Joseph Wayas (jnr) , the former Senate President died on the 30th November in Europe while his widow died on the 12 December in the UK.The 78years-old woman died in a London hospital.
Wayas, who was the Senate president in the Second Republic between 1979 and 1983, died in a London hospital at the age of 80 years.
