Nigerians are jubilant as the Super Eagles start off the African cup of nations in Garoua with a 1-0 win against Egypt.This places them at the top of group D.
The goal scored by Kelechi Iheanacho came in the 30th minute and was the only goal of the match starting Nigeria’s participation in the tournament on a good start.
Egypt seemed to be at a loss without a creative passer as their possession of the ball most times yielded nothing.
Nigeria faces Sudan in her next match.
