Famous aphrodisiac seller, Jaruma , has been remanded in prison custody following an attack on business tycoon, Ned Nwoko, on social media.
Jaruma, originally Hauwa Muhammed was remanded by an Abuja Upper Area Court till Friday, pending her bail application hearing.
Her arraignment followied a petition by Ned Mwoko to the FCT police command.
In the petition, Nwoko had accused Jaruma of publishing falsehoods on her Instagram page against himself and his wife, Regina Daniels, an actress.
He further accused Jaruma of claiming in an Instagram post that she paid N10m to Regina to advertise Kayanmata which she failed to do.
According to him, she further went on Instagram to insult Nwoko, accusing him of benefitting from her product.
The police subsequently arraigned Jaruma for defamation of character, false news publication and intimidation.
