Alleged Terrorism: Court Strikes Out 8 of 15 Charges Against Nnamdi Kanu_Ada Nkong

The Federal High Court in Abuja, Friday struck out 8 out of the 15-count charge filed against the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB Nnamdi Kanu by the Federal Government

Justice Binta Nyako struck out parts of the charges while ruling on the validity of charges

Ruling In the preliminary objection filed by the leader IPOB nnamdi kanu challenging the validity of the 15-count amended charge preferred against him by the Federal Government. Justice Nyako freed Nnamdi Kanu on 8 of the counts,
she said counts 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 have not disclosed any offense against the Defendant.
That Counts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 15 show some allegations, which the kanu has to answer.
That the court shall proceed to try the defendant on those counts

Nnamdi kanu was first arrested in 2016, jump in 2017 and rearrested in 2021
