Following directives from the presidency that all FEC Members vying for public office in the 2023 general elections should resign, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has tendered his resignation.
This was confirmed on the APC UK twitter handle which thanked him for his service to Nigeria.
Amaechi in his tenure revamped narrow gauge railways and constructed standard gauge railways in Abuja-Kaduna, Itakpe-Warri, Lagos-Ibadan and currently work is ongoing on Kano-Kaduna rail project.
Rt. Hon Rotimi Amaechi is one of the top APC contenders in the race for presidency come 2023.
