As APC delegates prepare for congress towards the 2023 elections,the former vice-chairman APC in Orue-Offiong/Oruko LGA in Akwa Ibom State, Elder Bassey Esin has called on delegates not to bow to intimidation.
Elder Esin made the call on Tuesday, May 17 at the election to produce delegates in his ward at the town hall, Edok village in ward 7 in Urue-Offiong/ Oruko LGA IN Akwa Ibom State.
Speaking at the occasion, Elder Bassey Esin advised the delegates to take the outcome of the election in good faith and,to know that those not elected this time will have their opportunity during the next congress. He urged them to put the interest of the party over and above personal interest. The former vice-chairman thanked the returning officer sent by the party to conduct the election as well as , the INEC officials who supervised the election.
He seized the opportunity to mobilize support for Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo and called on the APC members in ward 7 to stand strong and support Prof Osinbajo to become President of Nigeria come 2023.
According to him,Prof Osinbajo is the right man for the job adding that as a detribalised Nigerian,he will protect the interest of all Nigerians.
He appealed to party members to inform their friends, brothers and relatives all over the country who are delegates to vote for Prof Osinbajo.
Elder Bassey Esin also called on the party members to refuse to bow to any form of intimidation from any party. He said they should “believe in our great party APC and work for the party”.
He said nobody has the right to compare APC to PDP until APC is 16 years in power like PDP was. Esin highlighted the achievements of the APC administration especially in the area of infrastructural development adding that APC has done more for Nigerians than PDP did in it’s 16 years.
The former Vice-chairman, Urue-Offiong/Oruko and Publisher Global SpyNews Elder Bassey Esin waxing prophetic declared to party members that come 2023, APC will win elections and produce the state house member in Urue-Offiong Oruko,the state governor in Akwa Ibom State and the president of Nigeria.
He however said “to achieve all these, members should stand together, believe in the APC our party and believe in plan of our great party and trust the party”.
He summoned those Present to join the Prof. Osinbajo flight because he has so many good things for Nigerians.
