A section of members of the Nigerian Civil Service Union NCSU have called on Comrade Hector Nnadi to vie for the chairmanship of the Union in the forthcoming Federal council election in order to salvage the union. This they said is due to his antecedents as Chairman of the joint aviation union JCNC..
Speaking on Comrade Nnadi;s achievements,Comrade Sadiq Abubakar listed his achievements in the aviation Unit where he has taken the Union to an unprecedented dimension. Among his numerous giant strides are; introduction of the Annual Aviation Workers’ Week & Award Night which he has held annually for the past Eight years, annual Sectorial Stakeholders Retreat, ASSR, One on One with the Honourable Minister, Joint Aviation Trade Unions’ Forum ( JATUF), annual Solidarity Conference at Havana Cuban , Aviation Stakeholders Conference, Labour Peer Review Program, Nairobi, Kenya, ITF program s and many others
According to the group, “the Ministry of Aviation workers have never seen and experienced it so tasty and good that they are requesting that he continues as chairman against the dictates of the union constitution”
“The reign of comrade should be a yardstick to measure labour leadership capacity at the union apex because of his leadership clarity and prowess”.
It is against the above background that a group of NCSU members known as “NCSU Compatriots “ are calling on him to salvage the union at the federal council level by contesting in the coming election. They have outlined their roadmap to pressure him to do the needful among which is to go on one thousand members match to the Aviation Unit, Federal Council and National Headquarters of the Union to appeal to him to contest.
In a related development, another group called the Team progressives have called on Comrade Hector Nnadi to bring his wealth of experience and spirit of sportsmanship to the table by running for chairmanship in the forthcoming NCSU federal council elections. They cited his large heartedness in stepping down for the female aspirant. A gesture he has repeated on two occasions
The Team Progressives are in custody of information on giant strides Comrade Hector has achieved in the Federal Ministry of Aviation and also the sacrifices he has made to ensure that the Union is bounded.

Comrade Hector Nnadi ( JP) has shown Leadership capacity by ensuring that the NCSU remained the Joint Union Council Chairman and Secretary for almost 8 years without any challenge.
He has remained the Forum Secretary of the Joint Aviation Trade Unions’ Forum ( JATUF) an auspices of all the National Aviation Unions. A body he initiated
