Some delegates from Akwa-Ibom state have expressed dissatisfaction over their Non-Accreditation at the just concluded APC presidential primaries in Abuja.
This followed a controversial court order over the authentic list of delegates. According to them, this led to their disenfranchisement.
One of the delegates, Engr. Ukpong Udoh from Akwa Ibom State who spoke to our correspondent said the authentic list is from Obong Nsima Ekere , Obong Umana Umana, Sen Ufo Udoma and Barrister Bassey Danabe’s camp.
Another delegate who is a local government chairman said the court order was meant to frustrate former governor Godswill Akpabio’s aspiration.
They however said the content of the court order was not made known to them. Speaking further, they expressed worry that the infighting in the party may affect the party’s chances in the 2023 governorship elections.
