Noble Teens Africa Hosts Girls ICT Camp,Empowers 5 With Laptops_Ada Nkong

In a bid to maximize the potentials of teenagers especially girls and give them a competitive edge in an ICT driven world, NobleTeens Africa Iniatiative organized a 3 day non residential camp for girls in Abuja.

The free non residential advocacy and empowerment outreach was attended by 100 girls in and out of school.

The interactive sessions featured experts fro. CBN, EFCC,NDLEA, NCC who challenged the girls to go for STEM education.

Speaking at the event, the publisher, No le teens Africa Magazine,Princess Ipbie said the initiative was borne out of a desire to empower the vulnerable as well as contribute to fill the deficit in terms of shortage of talents with ICT skills.

According to her, teenagers are the critical and veritable agents of change in Nigeria and Africa as a whole ,hence the need to empower them.

She urged the teenagers to stand up to be counted and not to be discouraged by all that is going on around them. Princess Iphie also congratulated the part I I pants for successfully complete g the camp.

High point of the closing ceremony was presentation of laptops to 5 participants for outstanding performance in the training

One of the beneficiaries Miss Victoria Ogar appreciated the organizers for what she described as a priceless opportunity to learn and own her very first laptop. She pledged to use it positively to enhance her education and prayed that more girls be granted such opportunities.
