YPP Unveils Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor as Gubernatorial Candidate_Ada Nkong

The Young people’s party has officially announced Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor as it’s governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections.

Thousands of youths thronged out in their numbers to show their support for the party and candidates of their choice . The youths who spoke to newsmen said they wanted the future they have always yearned for and for them, the Young Progressives Party is the party to bring that dream to realization.

Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor, the gubernatorial candidate of the party who spoke to the jubilant supporters described the party as the hope of the new Abia while appreciating them for the show of love and support.
He pledged that a new thing will happen in Abia in 2023 while the dignity of man will be restored, and promised never to take Abians for granted when elected in 2023 as his team is poised to make a difference especially in areas of salary payment, and civil service management.

According to him “myself, my partner and my team, we will create wealth in this state. We will create massive infrastructure development in this state. As an engineer I know what it takes and I will do it. Go home and thank God, a new thing has happened in Abia”.
He alluded that they were God-made and no one can stop them. He called on the elders to take a bow and allow the youths to take the centre stage as they are ready to bring about the desired change they yearn for.

Comrade Bishop Makiri, the National Chairman of the party, says he is blown away by the progressives who stepped out in their numbers to be part of the epoch making event. Makiri stated emphatically that he would lead a revolution against his party, should they emerge and not change the story of the state, while expressing confidence that the party will take over the state in 2023.

Chimex Uluocha, State Chairman of the party, in a welcome address tagged the “Abia of our Dreams” said the party is about to set the pace for Nigeria with the youths who are ready for a better Abia. He said to the amazement of Abians, a change is eminent as the party is prepared and ready to make a change in the governance of the state.
The Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugwunagbo House of Representatives hopeful, and the Executive Chairman, Obingwa Local Government Area, Hon. Ibe Michael Nwoke in his speech explained that no one suspends someone who is not a member of her political party noting that the future the youths yearon for in governance is now. He added that with the youths in power, there won’t be need for struggles while urging everyone present to go get their Permanent Voters Card to complete their statement at the ballots.

The highpoint of the event was the hand over of flags to the party’s candidates and receipt of defectors from the People’s Democratic Party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance and All Progressives Congress including Sir. Ben Nwankpa, the former PDP Chairman of Obingwa LGA and councillors from the seventeen LGAs of the state.
