Meet Brian Chapman, the New Lóndoner who has made it a point of duty to devote his time to helping out at the meal center.He has been awarded volunteer of the month for July 2022, a well deserved recognition.
A very friendly fellow with a huge sense of humor, the striking thing about him is his great sense of responsibility towards the welfare of others and a love for humanity. He dotes on his family and delights in reminiscing the years he spent growing up with his siblings.
Apart from his love for music, he cherishes travel and adventure and prides himself in haven been to over 15 countries in his years in the Navy .

Meet Brian Chapman, our July volunteer of the month. Brian has been volunteering at the Meal Center since 2013. He is at the center almost every day, helping out with prep cooking, dish washing, deliveries, and whatever tasks need to be done. His love for the meal center and its mission of providing free nutritious meals to anyone that walks in the door is evident in his enthusiasm. Brian enjoys interacting with the patrons and making sure that everyone feels safe and respected while dining. He loves the camaraderie between all the volunteers and patrons and especially the laughter and good times. Thank you, Brian, for your service to the hungry in the New London community.
