Federal Science College Ogoja Alumni Grand Reunion: Clergy Tasks Alumni to Vote the Right Person 2023_Ada Nkong

Rev. Sr Rita Abang, founder of Divine Providence Home has urged the ex-students of Federal Science College Ogoja to choose carefully and vote for the right person come 2023.

Sr. Rita made the call when the alumni paid a visit to the Orphanage as part of her activities to mark their first grand reunion of all the sets since the inception of the school in 1991.

The Alumni were warmly recieved at the home with welcome songs and dances by the children in the home.

The Alumni president , Mr John Otogbo lauded the founder for providing succour to the children in her care and assured her that there will be more visits from the alumni.

The pioneer Head girl , Mrs Francisca Ogar thanked Sr. Rita for being a role model to the girls in Ogoja over the years and for mentoring a lot of girls especially the students of Announciation Girls Juniorate where she was principal for many years.

The head of the medical team who led the delegation, thanked Sr. Rita for the warm reception and spoke on the alumni’s main purpose for visiting which was to present drugs and some food stuff to the children at the home.

High point of the event was the presentation of worm expellants and malaria preventive drugs as well as four bags of garri and cash donations to the home.
