Members of Team progressive, a coalition of contestants for different positions in the Nigerian civil service union federal council elections were in high spirits as they went as a team to the federal secretariat of the council to submit their forms led by Comrade Hector Nnadi who is vying for the office of national Chairman of the union.
The team were recieved by secretary of council, Comrade Dan Otakpo who assured them that council has no preferred candidate and admonished the team to display maturity during the elections.
Various contestants led by the DG of the campaign team highlighted the intention of team progressive to bring innovation and change to the table if elected.
Comrade Hector Nnadi who spoke to our correspondent said the motive for vying for office is to ensure that things are done the right way. He refered to his seven point agenda which has welfare as a priority and declared his readiness to be held accountable for fulfilling them.
