Chief Bassey Esin, the Assistant Director (South),Trade and Economics Directorate Presidential Campaign Council (PCC),2023 on November 23 paid an enlightenment visit to his friends at Orue Offong/Oruko.
During the visit Chief Esin, an APC stalwart urged his friends not to allow anybody to deceive them. He said it is the turn of the South to produce a President and they must be ready to Vote for Sen. Ahmed Bola Tinubu from the South. He informed them that at this point,it is no more which political party they belong,but that everyone must come together to vote for the man from the South: Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to him, Bola Tinubu is the best Candidate from the South and,the man who has the capacity and experience to lead Nigeria come 2023. He further emphasized that APC Government has achieved more than what PDP achieved in 16yrs.
He said “the APC Government has brought Nigeria respect again in the committee of Nations, the APC Government has released all the funds which the Federal Government under PDP( which was their Government) was owing the States in Niger Delta since 1999”.
“President Buhari has released the funds to all the Niger Delta States for the Development of the States. Esin then advised them that they should hold unto the APC which is the party that has real love for every Nigerian”.
He said rather than nurture false hope APC believes in one Nigeria and does not discriminate between Parties. At this point, he informed the group that when he informed his Director( PCC)- Sen Ifeanyi Ararume a great son from the South, his Secretary (PCC) Chief Barr. Bisi Idaomi of the meeting he sent their greetings to them and requested that they should work with Chief Esin for the APC during the forth coming election adding ,that when they work with him they will have no choice but to also rejoice with him when the time comes.
In their response,Hon Efa Ukim the SA to the Paramount Ruler Of URUE OFFONG ORUKO LGA said that as far as APC has recognized and appointed their friend Chief Bassey Esin as a member of the Presidential Campaign Council,they will vote for APC and for Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu the APC Presidential Candidate. Also,that it is the turn of the South. And,they were happy that APC has honoured that Zoning arrangement. They ananyzed that any party that has not honoured the zoning of Presidency to the South is the enemy of Nigeria and should not be trusted.
Prince Asuquo Kokoete, King of boys asserted that from the day he heard the name of Chief Bassey Esin as the Assistant Director in the Presidential Campaign Council,he decided that Oron people must vote for APC because the Party has shown that it is a good Party that should be trusted. He appreciated APC for appointing CHIEF BASSEY ESIN into the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) 2023. Prince Asuquo affirmed that he was confident that when Tinubu is elected into office he will not forget the South and the South South. Asuquo expressed the believe that Ahmed Tinubu will perform as the President of Nigeria. Prince Asuquo also saluted the leadership of the Trade and Economics Directorate South (PCC).
The event took place in URUE OFFONG/ORUKO on November 23 in ORO Federal Constituency which is the LARGEST FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY IN AKWA IBOM STATE AND IN NIGERIA.
