A lady identified as Rebecca Ikumelo has died after sustaining critical injuries at Asake’s concert in London.
Her family shared the news on twitter mourning the loss of their daughter and niece.
The mayor of London Sadiq Khan also shared his condolences noting that an investigation was being carried out to uncover what went wrong at the concert in brixton leading to the hospitalization of several concert goers and the eventual death of Rebecca.
Asake shared a message on his social media accounts commiserating with the family, he stated that he had reached out to them and that he was working with the venue management and the police to determine what caused the disruption and the events leading up to Rebecca’s untimely death.
According to videos obtained, people broke into the venue of the concert which made the venue unsafe for the show to go on.
