
PDP Stalwart and advocate for free and fair elections,Chief Hart Modey has called on all stakeholders to exhibit the spirit of sportsmanship in the forthcoming elections.
In message made available to our correspondent,
Chief Modey stressed that power comes from God almighty and “all forms of desperation to cling to power in the forthcoming election should be discourage and disparage vehemently”.
He urged Political elites, stakeholders, traditional rulers,elders,youths,supporters to “as a matter of necessity embrace and promote peaceful,free,fair and credible election devoid of rancour, bitterness and thuggery activities”.
According to him “Whenever you want to cause mayhem during election, ask yourself these pertinent questions, where is Mohammed Siad Barre of Somali,Sani Abacha of Nigeria, Charles Taylor of Liberia,Idi Amin of Uganda and other despotic African rulers today? the earlier we all realize that power comes from God and is transient the better for us all”.
Chief Modey also known as Master of the seven seas admonished all to be peace makers during this election and allow the wishes of the electorates to triumph over individual selfish wishes and aspirations.
Chief Hart Modey is a PDP chieftain and key player in the politics of Cross River North Senatorial district.
