With just six days to the 2023 general elections, Chief Hart Modey has harped on the need to utilize the PVC as a tool to ensure development in Northern Cross River state.
Speaking to our correspondent in an exclusive interview,the PDP chieftain stressed the fact that relief from the present hardship experienced by the people will depend on the outcome of the general elections which in turn depends on participation in the elections and making sure the PVC is properly utilized.
Chief Modey called on voters in the senatorial district to make efforts to know their polling units ahead of the election day so that they can plan to access it on time for the elections.
He also emphasized the need to avoid invalid votes by thumbprinting properly and not folding the ballot papers after voting to avoid smearing.
The PDP Stalwart further called on voters to avoid the temptation to sell their votes in view of the difficulty being experienced as a result of the naira redesign assuring them that it is better to suffer temporarily and vote in line with conscience than to be responsible for choosing bad leaders.
The 2023 presidential and National assembly elections hold on the 25th of February while the governorship and state house of assembly elections hold on March 11.
