When people say age gracefully, they probably have met Dr Ejiro Otive-Igbuzor. She was all graceful as she celebrated 55 at the Palace of Priest Assembly Abuja.
The celebration started with a service of praise and thanksgiving for the gift of life, well attended by family, friends and associates.
The senior pastor and husband to the celebrant, Dr Otive-Igbuzor in his sermon stressed the need to focus on results. He admonished the congregation to strategize in all their actions to get outputs and outcomes that represent results.
The service dovetailed into the celebration proper and guests were treated to a special performance of a song ,super woman dedicated to her by her son Uviboy the rap priest.
Her daughter Barrister Rukewe Otive-Igbuzor also did a rendition virtually and paid tribute.
There was good music by guest artistes and the church choir as well.
Guests including members of the Global Guests hangout, a group founded by the celebrant showered encomiums on her describing her as a mentor, role model and lover of God
Speaking to Newsannex, her husband was full of praise for the celebrant.
“My wife Ejiro is a blessing from above, she has complimented me in many ways and has stabilized my life,I don’t have any hazzles in marriage, we have been married for 30 years I have not abused her one day, she has not abused me one day, when we tell our stories people don’t believe but that is the truth “.
” I can’t thank God enough for her and I pray that we will live long together.I can’t imagine life without her, I thank God for creating her for me. I pray that we grow old together, enjoy old age together and our children and children’s children will be blessed in accordance with the word of God”.

Hon. Reverend Francis Ejiroghene Waive representing Ughelli North/South/ Udu federal constituency in the ninth and tenth assembly who joined in the celebration was full of glowering words for the celebrant and wished her a happy birthday.
” She has been a mother figure, she has been a blessing ,she has allowed unfettered access to her husband and their resources . She has been a model and an example to follow and I cherish that a lot, all her writings on radio, television or print I follow so I can say I am her disciple”.
The celebrant on her part thanked God for the gift of life and recounted his blessings from her childhood right up to adulthood. She appreciated her husband who she said has been a pillar of support in their 30 years of marriage and disclosed his role in pushing her to publish two of her books coming out on the 24th of June. Dr Ejiro Otive-Igbuzor also appreciated her late grandmother who raised her and her kids for being supportive. She thanked everyone who turned up to celebrate her.
