After an anxious wait that had Nigerians wondering if it would materialize, Hilda Baci had been recognized by the Guinness World Record Officially for breaking the record with her cookathon.
A post on her page thanks Guinness World Record for the recognition.
The recognition is for 93 hours 11 minutes as against the hundred she did. The deductions are a fine for taking more time than allowed during the rest period
On its website,GWR said “Following a thorough review of all the evidence, Guinness World Records can now confirm that Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, has officially broken the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes”.
