Reports reaching us say Abdullahi Adamu has resigned as APC national chairman.
He reportedly sent in a resignation letter addressed to the president who is out of the country. The letter was allegedly recieved by the chief of staff.
Sources say the resignation was based on information that there is a plot to impeach him at the Party ‘s NEC meetings slated for today and Wednesday.
The chairman has however declined comments on the allegation saying he will wait for the return of the president.
Recall that he was the preferred candidate of former president Muhammadu Buhari during the party’s convention in 2022.
