As bakers under the aegis of International Cake Exploration Society converge on Abuja for the 2023 annual day of sharing, experts say networking and professionalism are key to a successful career.
The event which took place at the Trinity event center Maitama had in attendance bakers from all over the country.
In her speech, the Country Rep Mrs Solape Bamjoko stressed the benefits of belonging to ICES which she said include access to assistance from members in different states as well as sharing ideas.
At the panel discussion which characterized the first day, issues like how to act properly, business and financial management,stress management and certification were discussed.
Various challenging samples of cakes were unveiled as seen in the pictures on this page.The replica of the FCT city gate however won the cake of the show.
The theme of this year’s day of sharing is ‘Sugar Meets Real Estate ‘.
The two day event continues on August 16 2023.
